Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Click2spec is provided by Julio Staude, an individual based in Argentina (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected]. By installing or using Click2spec you agree to these terms.

2. The product and the plans

• Free: 2 spec packs with every feature, with a free license key issued by Lemon Squeezy to your email (no card). One free key per person; the pack count is kept by Lemon Squeezy, so reinstalling or using another browser does not add packs. A pack is one recording (or one combined app pack) turned into a document; switching formats, re-exporting or reopening a pack does not use another one.
• Pro: unlimited spec packs for USD 19.99 per user per month (plus any sales tax or VAT shown at checkout). One subscription is for one person, who may activate it in up to 3 of their own browsers. Licenses may not be shared, resold or transferred.

3. Payments

Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record: it processes your payment, issues your receipt and license key, and collects applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms. We never see your card details.

4. Renewal and cancellation

Pro renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal (linked from your receipt email and from Click2spec’s Plan screen). After cancelling, Pro keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, then Click2spec returns to the Free plan. Your saved packs stay on your computer either way.

5. Refunds

• First month: if Click2spec Pro isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we’ll refund it in full.
• Charged by mistake: if you were charged after cancelling, charged twice, or a renewal you didn’t intend went through and you haven’t used Pro since, email us within 14 days of that charge for a full refund.
• Other renewals are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. Refunds are issued by Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

6. Acceptable use

• Only record websites and applications you are authorized to access and document, and follow your employer’s or client’s policies about sharing information from them.
• You are responsible for what you capture and for where you send it, including to AI tools of your choice. Use the review step to remove anything you shouldn’t share.
• Don’t use Click2spec to break security measures, to collect other people’s personal data unlawfully, or to infringe anyone’s rights.

7. Generated documents

Spec packs are generated automatically from what was visible during a recording, optionally with an AI provider you configure. They can be incomplete or wrong. Review them before relying on them. You own the documents you generate. When you use smart synthesis, your agreement with that AI provider governs that request.

8. Privacy

Click2spec is local-first: captured data stays in your browser unless you send it somewhere. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and availability

We may update Click2spec and these terms. If we change the price of Pro or these terms in a way that matters to you, we’ll say so on this page and, for price changes, before your next renewal. We may stop offering Click2spec; if we do, active Pro subscriptions won’t renew and we’ll refund any period you paid for but can’t use.

10. No warranty; limitation of liability

Click2spec is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Click2spec in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
